Manulife MDRT membership in Asia rises 22 percent year-on-year in 2014

Manulife membership of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) grew by 22 percent year-on-year in Asia in 2014, and rose for a fourth consecutive year, reflecting the increasing client-centric focus and high standards of service by Manulife advisors across the region. 

Recognized as the global financial industry benchmark for the highest levels of professionalism, productivity and client service, MDRT represents the elite of financial services professionals from around the world. 

“MDRT has never been more important to Manulife. In 2014, for the first time, more than 1,000 Manulife advisors qualified for MDRT. We are very proud of this achievement and are determined to build on it. We will continue to serve clients through exemplary performance, and the highest standards of ethics, knowledge, service and productivity,” said Robert A. Cook, President and Chief Executive Manulife Asia. 



“At Manulife, we continually strive to raise the standards of our agency force. We have over 400 Manulife trainers at our Centre for Professional Development in Asia who are focused on developing and upgrading the professionalism of our advisors,” commented Kim Fleming, Vice President, Asia Regional Agency at Manulife. 

As a sign of its commitment to MDRT, Manulife will host the exclusive Manulife MDRT PEAK Convention, Manulife’s biggest agency distribution event ever globally, which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from February 28th to March 3rd. 

Approximately 2,000 Manulife advisors and executives from across Asia will head to the education convention, dedicated to building the skills and knowledge of the company’s high performing advisors. Top advisors will be recognized at a special Gala dinner.
